The Official Tim Opper Fan Club Convention update!!!
This summer, there will be TWO conventions, one of them in Atlantic City, and the bigger one in Las
Vegas! We’re shooting for a late-June/early July thing. Maybe around the July 4th weekend. At least three
U.S. Senators have signed on as keynote speakers, and the current line-up of the Misfits have expressed
interest in performing at the Atlantic City gathering. (Rumor has it that Glenn Danzig MAY make an
appearance, as he did at the ’06 gig in Detroit...fingers crossed!!!)
Convention tickets will be for the entire weekend ONLY (single-day tickets are for poseurs!), and will
include an all-events pass to make the festivities more accessible than last year’s celebration. (Guests
had to have different passes for the different venue-halls, which caused some confusion and created
problems for those who brought the wrong pass to a venue.)
Sign-ups will begin April 1st, and we highly suggest getting them at the first opportunity, since ticket
prices WILL increase as the dates get closer! More details to follow.
A personal message from Tim himself:
"I look forward to meeting all of you once again at this year’s extravaganzas. They are sure to be
memorable occasions, with lots of surprises in store! See you all this summer!"
